SCHOFIELD BARRACKS, Hawaii — BlackOhm is preparing to field its tracking solutions during Joint Pacific Multinational Readiness Center (JPMRC) 27-01, supporting large-scale military training at locations across Oahu and at Pohakuloa Training Area on Hawaii Island.
During field operations, BlackOhm’s Sigma and Sigma X dismounted tracking units, Theta autonomous tracking units and other tracking devices will monitor personnel, unmanned aircraft systems and critical assets across dispersed training areas. The devices will provide real-time location data, movement history and operational alerts through BlackOhm’s Omega common operating picture.
Commanders will use the integrated platform to maintain situational awareness, track unit movements, improve personnel accountability and conduct data-driven after-action reviews to assess training performance and operational readiness.
“In environments where every second matters, knowing where your personnel are should never be a challenge,” said Chase Usher, BlackOhm’s vice president of strategic growth and government affairs. “JPMRC 27-01 provides an opportunity to demonstrate how real-time personnel tracking can strengthen accountability, reduce communication burdens and give commanders greater confidence in their operational decisions.”
As military operations become increasingly dispersed and complex, BlackOhm remains focused on closing visibility gaps between personnel and commanders. Fielding its technology during the rotation will provide an opportunity to demonstrate how improved situational awareness can support faster decisions, stronger coordination and greater operational readiness.
