CHANDLER, Ariz. — BlackOhm, a provider of real-time personnel tracking and situational awareness technology, will support the Alabama Army National Guard with its latest GPS solutions.
The Alabama Army National Guard selected BlackOhm through the United States Property and Fiscal Office. The procurement includes SigmaX and Alpha GPS tracking solutions.
The firm-fixed-price, sole-source contract supports operational requirements across the Alabama National Guard. The procurement follows Federal Acquisition Regulation 6.302-1.
FAR 6.302-1 authorizes sole-source awards when only one responsible source can meet the government’s requirements. The Alabama Army National Guard determined that BlackOhm’s GPS Tracker Package meets its technical and operational needs.
BlackOhm will provide the hardware, software, and support services required under the contract. The solution will improve personnel and asset visibility during training and operational missions. As a result, commanders and operational leaders can monitor locations in real time, strengthen accountability, improve mission coordination and enhance situational awareness.
“This award reflects the confidence government organizations place in BlackOhm’s mission-ready tracking technology,” said Chase Usher of BlackOhm. “Our solutions give commanders accurate, real-time operational awareness. They also help improve personnel safety, accountability and mission effectiveness in demanding environments.”
The technology will support training activities and local missions. It combines secure location tracking with a scalable, cloud-based platform for data processing, mapping and operational monitoring.
BlackOhm designed the platform for military, public safety and government applications. As a result, organizations can track personnel and critical assets across dynamic operating environments.
The platform supports informed decision-making through real-time data. Leaders can use that information to coordinate teams, monitor activity and respond to changing conditions.
The W7MT United States Property and Fiscal Office Activity, Alabama Army National Guard, will administer the contract. The procurement reflects the Alabama National Guard’s investment in modern technology. The solution will help strengthen operational readiness, mission effectiveness and force accountability.
