CHANDLER, Ariz. — BlackOhm has been awarded a contract by the U.S. Army to continue operating, maintaining, and securing the Soldier Monitoring System II, an established Army Program of Record.
Soldier Monitoring System II provides real-time personnel location and accountability during military training. The system gives commanders and training personnel greater visibility of participating service members, supports faster emergency response, and helps reduce risk during demanding training events.
Under the contract, BlackOhm will provide system operations, preventive and corrective maintenance, logistics support, cloud hosting, software and firmware updates, cybersecurity services, technical support, and program management. BlackOhm will also provide on-site field service support at designated Army training installations.

As the original equipment manufacturer, BlackOhm maintains the system’s integrated hardware, software, communications, and cloud environment. The company’s technology provides visibility of soldiers and equipment, giving authorized users a common operating picture across training environments.
